Parkstone Golf Club, Halfway House – AJ Small Projects Submission

Taking the opportunity during a recent break in the rainy weather we visited site and managed to take some decent photos of the Halfway Hut.

The 360deg highly visible site means that the building can be viewed from many locations around the course and reinforces the original design intent which concentrated on designing a building which will sit comfortably in its landscape setting.

The building is settling into the site and is proving to be very popular with the members and visitors alike.

Its great location gives magnificent views across the entire course and beyond to Poole Harbour.

As the landscape work surrounding the facility takes shape, led by the Golf Club’s talented team of greenkeepers, we expect it to continually improve over the coming months.

Encouraged by the Client, we have submitted the project to the annual AJ Small Projects competition and look forward to hearing how we get on.
