The Flower Pots, Brewery Extension – Construction Progress

Progress is positive at The Flower Pots where the steel frame has been erected a week earlier than anticipated.

A recent site visit by Mike and Loretta also involved a detailed design meeting with the team from Green Oak Construction who areundertaking all the primary roof timber work to the main Brewery Hall.

We are really looking forward to seeing the oak and steel detailing which act as a great backdrop to the industrial look and feel of the equipment.

Detailed setting out is underway and all the final below ground stainless steel drainage will be going in. The Client has also now fixed on the final technical layouts for the Brewery Equipment and we will be updating and co-ordinating our drawings accordingly ready for the next stage of construction.

Work has continued to progress this week with Green Oak on site installing the oak rafters and joists. The internal exposed sarking board is currently being put in to place which gives a sneak preview into how the internal finish will look!

It is a really exciting time for The Flower Pots as this significant investment in the new, extended premises, promises to deliver all sorts of new opportunities.
